Confused with nowhere to turn…
We all know the feeling. I certainly do.
We need conversation to share those areas of life where we feel most vulnerable.
And even though it looks like there are a lot of people to talk to…
There’s actually no one who can hold that sacred space for us.
We need someone who can really listen.
We need someone to help us process our concerns from a neutral perspective.
We need a space where we know what we say won’t be misinterpreted or misunderstood… because the alternative is SO isolating and lonely.
Sharing or being vulnerable with the wrong person is risky…
If they’re not able to give you the safe, accepting space you need, you risk harming or losing the relationship.
That’s why I’m here.
I’ll be there for you in these vulnerable moments of your life.
We’ll communicate openly, and you won’t have to worry about not being seen, heard, or understood.
We’ll examine how you’re showing up in your relationships – and why you might struggle or feel unfulfilled.
Get ready to discover areas about yourself that will inevitably redefine how you live.
Therapy is about more than just feeling better.
It’s about developing self-awareness – about approaching life differently.
When you understand your approach to the world around you, you’re in a position to change it. The strategies you’ve used to this point in your life may have helped at one time, but they might be in dire need of change, given the person you are today.
Let’s give you the skills to live in the present… on YOUR terms.

About Me
I’ve always been drawn to psychology…
I’ve always sought a psychological reason for why we pursue the careers we do… how we find the right intimate partner… why our relationships work or don’t… and, above all, why we experience mental distress.
Really, I’ve always tried to figure out what’s behind good choices and a healthy life.
After years of study, I realize that HOW we approach decisions in life is more important than WHY we make those decisions… probably because the WHY behind our choices is often rooted in our past, whereas the HOW is directly connected to the change we seek.
I’m passionate about wellness.
So, when it comes to the problems people bring to therapy or the behaviors they’d like to change, I think more about what we can do to promote health rather than remove pathology.
Focusing on wellness, we’ll emphasize the importance of your internal strengths and external resources to enhance your skills and satisfaction with life.
Some of my professional background…
I currently provide in-person and online counseling for individuals in Tennessee.
I’ve been recognized for developing psychotherapeutic approaches in medication-assisted treatment (MAT). I no longer work in treatment settings, but if you’re struggling with dependency issues, I’m happy to work with you.
I also provide clinical hypnosis, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, and integrate Buddhist psychology into Western therapeutic settings.
In my personal life…
I enjoy the outdoors, running and hiking as much as possible in the sun!
I also love spending quality time with my three children.
